Choosing a Double Eyelid that is suitable for you
There is no right or wrong in wanting to have a specific double eyelid which resembles that of a celebrity or someone else. However, one has to keep such desires within certain realistic limitations. It would be wiser to spent time understanding the various options you can choose and which is best suited for your existing eyelids.
Height:
Most Oriental Asians would look good with a Low to Medium range of double eyelids. Eyelids within this range of height would appear most natural. High double eyelids tend to appear ‘artificial’ or ‘surgical’ and would not be suitable for most.

Shape:
Most common natural occurring crease shape in Oriental Asians is the Tapered fold, followed by the Parallel. The tapered shape is most suitable for individual with prominent skin fold at the inner corner of the eye (epicanthal fold) and looks the most natural. The parallel crease gives an impression of being more exotic and is popular with individual who seek the distinguishing characteristics. It is important to find a doctor who can simulate both eyelid shapes for you prior to the surgery so that you can get a good idea if the different eyelid shapes would suit your facial features.
Lateral flare and semi lunar are more common with individual of mixed descent or with deep and large eye sockets and high nasal bridge. It would not appear as ‘natural’ in most Oriental Asians.

Hi Rhea,
We are an independent site, aiming to share our experience with our readers, thus, we do have have the exact prices charged by the different practices in Singapore. From feedback from our readers, on average, it will cost about $2k for both eyes. How lasting and avg healing time is very subjective. Personally, I had done mine for 3+ years and its still looking good and natural.
